Nicklaus Companies continues its momentum by opening 2018 with recognition from NGF as one of the Top-100 Businesses in Golf
The Nicklaus Companies, buoyed by the strength of its global design business and a marketing and licensing business inspired by the greatest name and brand in golf, has been named to the National Golf Foundation’s inaugural list of the Top-100 Businesses in Golf. The NGF Top 100 Businesses in Golf (the NGF Golf 100) is a biennial list – not ranking – that was created to recognize and celebrate the most successful, influential and prominent companies, organizations and associations in golf. The inaugural NGF Golf 100 is part of the National Golf Foundation’s ongoing effort to highlight the vitality, size and diversity of an industry that has an economic impact in the U.S. of almost $70 billion.

Situated on 250 acres in the heart of West Palm Beach, Florida, the redesign of Banyan Cay Resort and Golf began Tuesday, November 29, with a groundbreaking ceremony attended by golf icon and globally acclaimed course designer Jack Nicklaus and other notable guests. Noble House Hotels & Resorts—an owner and operator of luxury hotels and resorts from Seattle to the Florida Keys—will take over the management of Banyan Cay.

This year, for the third time in event history, a true American icon, Jack Nicklaus, has joined Folds of Honor as honorary chairman of the non-profit’s leading annual fundraising event, Patriot Golf Day. Since 2007, PGA professionals around the country have raised more than 22 million dollars for educational scholarships for children and spouses of men and women who have fallen or been disabled while serving the country.
